This is a 10* NON-CONF GAME OF THE YEAR on Idaho.
I'm not calling for an outright upset or anything, but I think this one sets up really well for the visitors to comfortably sneak in through the back door down the stretch.
As primarily a situational capper, this one falls right into my wheelhouse so to speak. I'm looking at these team's schedules and some trends to make this selection today, with the Cougars entering 2-0 SU and 1-1 ATS after a 91-74 win over Bradley most recently.
However, with a neutral site game vs. Iowa up next weekend, not only does this set up as a bit of a letdown spot after the B2B victories, but also a "look ahead."
Idaho is 1-1 after a hard-fought 79-75 loss at home to UC Davis as a two-point dog last time out. The Vandals had a half-time lead, but stumbled down the stretch. Regardless, it was a decent overall showing. The road ahead doesn't get any easier for Idaho, with four more road games after this, including at BYU next.
The Vandals can't look past anyone, but note that they've responded well in this spot for bettors in the past by going 3-1 ATS in their last four off a SU/ATS home loss as an underdog.
