This is an 8* TOTAL BOOKIEKILLER on the UNDER Cubs/Dodgers.

Both teams have been involved in several higher-scoring games of late, but everything finally points to more of a "duel" here on Friday from the West Coast in my opinion.

Chicago is 9-6 overall, including 5-2 on the road, while LA is 10-4 overall and 6-0 at home.

The Cubs have seen the total go OVER in five straight following their most recent 6-2 loss at Texa two night ago, while the Dodgers have seen the total eclipse the posted number in four straight following their most recent 6-5 win at Washington on Wednesday, a victory that snapped a three-game slide.

We have two really competent starters going head-to-head here in Matt Boyd (1-0, 0.00 ERA) of the Cubs and Yoshinobu Yamamoto (1-1, 1.69) of the Dodgers, and everything in my opinion points to these two capable hurlers battling each other into the deep innings.

Because of that, I'm absolutely anticipating a lower-scoring UNDER in the opener of this one!
