This is a 10* TOTAL BK on the OVER Padres/Braves.

These teams have been involved in several lower-scoring games of late, but I'm finally expecting some offensive fireworks on Sunday.

Yesterday's game was postponed due to weather.

Regardless, the Braves will be eager to snap a two-game slide after falling 3-1 in the opener of this series. Amazingly Atlanta has now seen the total go UNDER in ten straight.

The Padres had seen the total go OVER in three straight prior to the 3-1 win. Note though that ATL has seen the total go OVER the number in eight of its last 11 in trying to avenge a home loss as a -200 or greater favorite vs. an opponent.

Yu Darvish is expected to start for the Padres, while Bryce Elder is forced into the starting rotation for the Braves out of necessity once again.

Elder has struggled. Darvish has been decent. However, the overall situation with the extra day off, combined with the above numbers/trends finally do point to this total flying OVER the number sooner rather than later.
