This is a 10* CFL NON-CONF GOW on the Alouettes.

With the majority of the general betting public going one way, I'm grabbing the points and going the other.

It's a Grey Cup rematch here with the Bombers facing the defending champion Alouettes.

Winnipeg was heavily favored in the Grey Cup, but Montreal put together a big second half in the 28-24 upset.

The Bombers took both regular season games quite easily from Montreal last year, but I don't expect that to happen again here in Week 1 in 2024.

Defense was key for Montreal's second half push last year and it brings back its core group of guys, which I believe will trump the offense that Zach Collaros brings to the table for the home side.

Winnipeg's defense took a hit in the off-season as well, with a couple of key players leaving/retiring.

The Bombers may get their revenge, but it won't be easy.
