AAA's 10* TOTAL DESTRUCTION - +$24,000 NHL RUN!
(NHL) Montreal vs. Detroit,
Total: 5.50 | 127.00 Over
Result: Win
This is a 10* TOTAL DESTRUCTION on the UNDER between the Montreal Canadiens and the Detroit Red Wings.

Montreal had a one-goal lead well into the third period vs. the Bruins last night, but would come away with a 3-1 home-loss. After leading the league in scoring at 3.54 GPG through November 27th, the Habs have managed just nine tallies in their last five games. Detroit was up-and-down over the first six weeks of the season, a string which included a 1-5-1 slump in October. Since then though the Red Wings have gone on an 11-game point streak over the last three weeks, going 7-0-4 in that span. Detroit though also comes in off a loss, a 3-2 OT setback to Washington on Tuesday. The last time these team's met, Montreal skated away with the 4-1 win on October 17th. We'll call Petr Mrazek and Dustin Tokarski a "wash" in net, but will note that Montreal has seen the total go UNDER the number in six of its last ten after three or more consecutive losses, while Detroit has seen the total fall below the posted number in seven of ten vs. division opponents this season and in eight of 11 in trying to revenge a loss vs. an opponent. A great situational play based on scheduling and motivation, combined with strong O/U trends, does indeed make the savvy move in this particular contest on the UNDER.
