AAA's 10* SECOND ROUND TOTAL OF THE YEAR (+$49,000 RUN w/ 10* PICKS!)
(NCAAB) Connecticut vs. Kansas,
Total: 140.00 | -107.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is a 10* SECOND ROUND NCAA TOURNEY TOTAL OF THE YEAR on the OVER between Connecticut and Kansas.

When the smoke clears at the end of this one, we look for this total to eclipse the posted number. The Huskies come into this game on fire and will look to upset No. 1 seeded Kansas in this second round matchup. UConn has won five straight after rallying from an 11 points first half deficit to beat No. 8 seed Colorado 74-67 on Thursday. Kansas was not tested at all in its 105-79 destruction of 16th seeded Austin Peay. It was the Jayhawks 15th straight victory. A couple of the countries hottest teams collide on Saturday afternoon and we think there is a classic shootout in the cards. The Huskies run has included a quadruple OT win over Cincinnati in the AAC Tournament and they were led by Rodney Purvis with 19 points, while Daniel Hamilton had 17 points and ten boards in the win over the Buffaloes. And it was the way that UConn closed its game vs. Colorado that leads us to believe it'll carry that momentum over into this one, outscoring the Buffs 47-31 after the break. The Jayhawks also got balanced scoring in their win over the Governors, getting 24 off the bench from Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk, while Perry Ellis added 23. Kansas is one of the highest scoring teams in the nation at 81.6 PPG. Both teams can also play defense obviously, ranking in the top 1/3rd in the nation in most categories, but we think the pace in which these schools play will result in a higher-scoring affair. Note that Connecticut has seen the total go OVER the number in five of eight neutral court games and in five of eight when playing with one or less days rest this season, while Kansas has seen the total go OVER in four of six tournament games this year and in five of eight when playing with one or less days rest. Play on the OVER.
