Villanova would dominate Oklahoma in the Final Four, winning 95-51. It was the biggest blowout in the history of the Final Four. The Wildcats defense was incredibly impressive and we think it'll be able to slow down the high-flying Tar Heels just enough for this total to sneak below the posted number. Does anyone think that Villanova is going to shoot 71.4 percent from the field again? We certainly don't. The Wildcats can score, but that was a ridiculous, once in a life-time performance and suffice it to say, all signs do indeed point to a classic letdown for Villanova's offense today. The Tar Heels are stacked up front, but they now face a defense which held Buddy Hield to just nine points in the biggest game of his career on Saturday. Brice Johnson had 16 points for North Carolina in the win over Syracuse, but the Tar Heels would miss 11-straight 3-point shots at one point in that one, somehow still managing to put up 83 points. That type of shooting performance will not get the job done against the Wildcats though. These teams know how to put the rock in the hole, but overshadowed by their impressive offensive displays has been their awesome play on the defensive end. On the biggest stage of these players' careers, we're expecting a hard-fought battle and for this one to fall UNDER the posted number once the final horn sounds.
