New York sends Steven Matz to the hill, who showed a lot of promise last year, but who looked pretty ordinary in his one start vs. the Marlins on September 6th, going 5 1/3's innings while allowing two runs off four hits in a 4-3 defeat. The pitcher that Matz opposed in that contest is the one he'll be facing today as well, right-hander Jarred Cosart was just 2-5 with a 4.52 ERA in 13 starts last season, but he'd give up zero runs over 9 2/3's innings in spring training, including 3 2/3's vs. New York on March 21st. We're calling the line-ups a "wash," but giving Cosart the slight nod in this matchup. The value favors the visitors, play on MIAMI.
