This is a 10* TOTAL BIG TIGER on the OVER between the Houston Rockets and the Golden State Warriors.
They don't get much bigger than this, the Rockets are looking to stave off elimination, while the Warriors will be putting everything on the line to end this series tonight and will be out to prove that they can do so without their floor general with them. When the smoke does finally clear at the end of this one, we look for this total to eclipse the posted number. Reigning MVP Steph Curry had to leave at half time with a knee inury in Game 4, but Golden State would respond by winning third quarter 41-20. There's no reason not to think that Klay Thompson and company won't be able to do the same thing again here. But here's the golden moment that Houston has been looking for, with the full knowledge that Curry will be out for at least a couple of weeks, the opportunity is definitely there for the Rockets if they can simply take advantage. Could be easier said than done though, as even without Curry in the line-up, the Warriors would set an NBA playoff record with 21 3-pointers in Game 4 (note that while Curry was in, he'd miss 7 of 8 shots and finish with six points, five assists and five turnovers). Note that Houston has seen the total go OVER the number in ten of 16 this year when playing with two days of rest and in 11 of 18 after a loss by ten points or more, while Golden State has seen the total go OVER in ten of 18 when playing with two days of rest and in not surprisingly, 34 of 53 vs. poor defensive teams which allow 99-plus points per contest.
