If you're wagering on the NBA right now, there's no real need to break down these team's at the moment, you know what the story line is for each coming in. But to re-cap, after beating the Spurs in six games, the Oklahoma City Thunder have the defending champs on the ropes with a 3-1 series lead with a chance to close in Game 5. Are the Warriors "gassed" after their record setting regular season? Is Stephen Curry more seriously injured than what we're being told? What happened to Golden State's hard-nosed, league-leading defensive play? We'll find out some of those answers after this series is finished, but for this selection we're basing it "situationally." OKC has been outstanding to this point, but if it was ever going to have a "letdown," clearly this would be it. With the knowledge that the team can close this series at home in Game 6 and have a backup Game 7 as well to fall back on, we believe the visitors come in a tiny bit complacent today. And for the Warriors, it will be all hands on deck as the team risks life and limb getting into shooting and passing lanes while throwing every available body they have at the Thunders' Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. Note that Oklahoma City has seen the total go UNDER the number in four of five this year off an upset win as an underdog, while Golden State has seen the total dip below the posted number in five of its last six when trailing in a playoff series.
