REASONING: Alabama comes in having won two straight, most recently over LSU. Georgia had won two straight before losing a tough one to visiting Kentucky last Saturday. Georgia will need a miracle at this point to make the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs lost Yante Maten to a sprained knee in that one and he's ranked third in the conference in scoring at 18.7 per contest. Clearly it's a huge mental blow for a team already on the cusp. The Tide come into this one rolling, having won five of their last eight. Last Saturday's 90-72 road win over LSU last Saturday represented a season-high in points and suffice it to say, we're not expecting a repeat performance tonight. Note that when these teams played on January 25th, Alabama won 80-60. We'd be shocked if they reach 120 points this time around though. Note that Georgia has already seen the total go UNDER the number in two of three this year as a road dog in the 3.5 to six points range and in its only game this season in trying to revenge a blowout loss of 20 points or more to an opponent, while Alabama has seen the total go UNDER in nine of 14 as a favorite this year and in all four games that it's played after scoring 80 points or more.
