The Capitals had not posted three consecutive regulation defeats since dropping four in a row between Jan. 14-20, 2019. So, the team’s current skid, which follows a nine-game season-opening point streak (6-0-3), must hurt a bit.
I expect them to come out strong Tuesday night after losing to the Flyers 7-4 just a few nights ago. The Caps had a lot of penaltys leading to those easy scores.
