(MLB) NY Mets vs. Cleveland, 04/15/2016 3:10 PM, Score: 6 - 5
Money Line: -117.00 Cleveland (Home)
Result: Loss
The Mets have gotten off to a slow start. I think that will continue here on Friday in Cleveland. The Indians have had several rainouts and haven't been able to get into a groove here. But it also means that their bullpen is rested. That will be a big edge in what will be a low-scoring series. The Mets are leading with Bartolo Colon, who was once a dominant pitcher here for the Tribe. But he is not that guy any more. I think Colon is going to struggle this season and I think Cleveland will give him a rude welcome back. The Indians are going with Cody Anderson. Going back to last year the Indians have gone 5-1 in Anderson's last six starts. They are 6-2 in his last eight starts and he hasn't given up more than two runs in any of those starts. I think he will shut down a Mets lineup that is hitting .185 and scoring just 2.8 runs per game.
