AAA's NATIONAL LEAGUE TOTAL SUPER-BLOWOUT!
(MLB) Atlanta vs. NY Mets,
Total: 7.00 | -110.00 Under
Result: Loss
This is an 8* "TOTAL SUPER-BLOWOUT" on the OVER between the Atlanta Braves and the New York Mets.

There's no question in my mind that the Braves are severly underperforming right now, I think these two teams combine for a big offensive outburst at the plate tonight. New York has a chance to sweep Atlanta in a four-game series for the first time in 25 years today, the Mets are 5-1 on a current ten-game homestand. Unfortunately for the home side, sending the volatile Bartolo Colon (8-7, 4.04 ERA) to the hill is likely not what the doctor ordered to keep the win steak going; Colon has lost his last two starts, giving up ten runs in his last 13 innings of work, most recently giving up four runs in the first inning in his team's eventual 8-7 loss to Texas on Saturday. After winning nine-straight, Atlanta has now lost four in a row and is just 5 for 38 with runners in scoring position in that span, including 0 for 7 yesterday. The visitors counter with the equally as inconsistent Aaron Harang (8-6, 3.67 ERA), who has actually been decent of late, most recently giving up four runs in a 10-4 win over Arizona on Saturday. As with most of my over/under plays, this is a situationally based selection; I am not confident in either of these starters, I look for a highly concerted effort from the Braves and there's no question that the Mets are looking to keep things rolling as we head into the break. All signs point to a higher-scoring slugfest, play on the OVER.
