AAA's 10* NATIONAL LEAGUE ODDSMAKER MISTAKE!
(MLB) St. Louis vs. Milwaukee,
Money Line: -124.00 Milwaukee (Home)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* "ODDSMAKER MISTAKE" on the Milwaukee Brewers.

While Brewers' starter Yovani Gallardo has struggled against the Cards in the past, I think he finds a way to help his team earn a victory at the end of the night. Milwaukee comes in having lost a season-worst five straight and will be hungry here to stop the slide as the Cardinals now sit just two games behind. The Brewers have in fact lost nine of their last ten, but with an opportunity to put some distance between themselves and St. Louis and to finish the first half on a high note, I look for Milwaukee to come in focused on the task at hand. The Brewers will also certainly be eager to atone for last night's 9-1 beatdown by the hands of the last place Phillies. Gallardo (5-5, 3.45 ERA) has been historically bad against St. Louis, but comes in with momentum, he gave up two runs over seven frames during a no-decision Sunday at Cincinnati, allowing eight hits while not issuing a walk, also striking out three. Both Gallardo and the Brewers have plenty of motivation coming into this contest and they'll look to take advantage of St. Louis Starter Joe Kelly (1-1, 0.59 ERA) who last pitched in a 5-1 loss at Milwaukee back on April 16th. Kelly injured himself in that game and has been out since. Note that while he's posted a respectable 2.65 ERA at Miller Park, he's lost all three starts. Note that Cards slugger Yadier Molina tore a ligament in his thumb in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Pirates and will be out indefinitely. His absence was definitely noticed in last night's 9-1 beatdown loss by Pittsburgh. Milwaukee slugger Ryan Braun returned last night and went 1-4, but should also benefit here. I give Gallardo the nod on the bump and when coupled with the very real motivational factors working for Milwaukee in this spot and then combine it with this fantastic price, the sharp wager in this contest is indeed on MILWAUKEE.
