Michael Wacha retired 15 of the first 16 batters he faced before being chased in his last start by allowing three sixth-inning runs. There were signs of improvement, though, particularly in that Wacha did not issue a walk for the first time all year. Wacha has slowly started to improve as he's now tossed seven quality outings over his last nine trips to the hill. The home side counters with the volatile Cody Reed (0-5, 7.07) who was rocked for six runs off five hits over five innings in a loss to San Francisco on Tuesday. He really struggles at home in this hitters park and I expect the Cards to get a big win on Wednesday night.
