The Florida State Seminoles are the defending national champions, and they are led by the reigning Heisman winner Jameis Winston, who is 22-0 as a starer. The Noles are in Miami this week, but after several lackluster performances, nobody is expecting this game to be easy for the visitors. I don't think FSU is getting enough credit here this week.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Noles have won four straight versus Miami, by an average margin of more than 17 points. Two of those games were in Miami, and both of those game were blowouts.
2. Brad Kaaya - It's the Miami QB that leads the ACC in TDs, yards per attempt, yards per completion and QBR, not Famous Jameis. Winston though has led his team to victory over Marquee opponents such as Oklahoma State, Louisville and Notre Dame. Kaaya has thrown for five TDs and six INTs in losses to Georgia Tech, Nebraska and Louisville.
3. X-Factor - The Hurricanes are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 vs. a team with a winning record.
