The Pittsburgh Penguins are coming into this contest off back to back losses against the Islanders. They are looking to bounce back against a Bruins team that was shut out by the Canadiens on Saturday, and has had trouble finding the net all season long. The same can not be said about the Penguins who are scoring left right and center, and I think the visitors will be able outscore their opponent tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Special Teams - The Pens have the best power play in the NHL as they've scored 22 goals on the man advantage converting on exactly a third of their opportunities. The Bruins penalty kill ranks in the bottom third so the home team has to be vary about taking penalties tonight. They can not expect to reciprocate either as the visitors penalty kill ranks near the top of the table.
2. Marc-Andre Fleury - The 29 year is in terrific form going 8-1-1 over his last 10 starts and should come into this game fresh as he was rested Saturday. The Bruins have scored only nine goals over their last six games and have had trouble finding the net against Fleury in the past with him showing a 2.27 GAA over 10 career games against Boston.
3. X-Factor - Evegni Malkin has two goals and four assists over his last four games. He has 12 points on the power play and expect him to be involved if the Penguins get a chance on the man advantage.
Selection: This is a play on the Pittsburgh Penguins (10*)
