The Coach's NHL 5-Pak
(NHL) New Jersey vs. NY Islanders,

Result: Win
The New York Islanders had a five game winning streak snapped last night as the Capitals defeated them 5-2 in Washington. Tonight they're back in New York to do battle with their neighbors the New Jersey Devils who are coming off three consecutive losses. I'm looking for the home team to bounce back with a victory tonight and pile on the visitors misery.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Jaroslav Halak - The 29 year old did not participate in last night's defeat and will be looking for a ninth consecutive win tonight. He's certainly played his part in those wins, registering three shutouts and a 1.21 GAA. Halak might be in for a quiet evening with only the Sabres testing their opponents goalie with fewer shots than the Devils.
2. Home Cookin' - The Islanders have been one of the better home teams so far winning five straight and eight of their 10 at Nassau Coliseum this season.
3. X-Factor - Facing the Devils usually brings out the best of John Tavares who has six goals and two assists over his last five games against them.
Selection: This is a play on the New York Islanders (5*)
