Point Spread: 12.00 | -111.00 USC (Home)

The 11th ranked Utah Utes come in as big road favorites as it visits the struggling USC Trojans. The ranked Utes do come in off a disappointing loss at UCLA where they were beaten pretty handily on Thursday. Utah finishes a three game road stand that finishes next Saturday at Colorado. USC meanwhile comes in off a double overtime loss to Colorado on Thursday. The Trojans have lost five in row overall. The losses, while not ideal, are helping to give us a lot of points to work with a home dog in this matchup. USC won't forget the beat down it got in the PAC 12 opener on Jan. 2 and will looking to make amends here.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Trojans as underdog trends- USC has had a knack for covering the spread as the underdog this season. The Trojans are 7-4 ATS when labeled the dogs. They are also 3-1 ATS after game where they allowed 80 points or more. USC was the dog against Colorado last game and ended up keeping it really close and taking the game to double OT.
2. Troubles on the road- Utah is just 2-3 on the road this season and has lost two straight conference road games. The Utes have shown some complacency their games on the road this season. Delon Wright said: "One of the problems was when things weren't going our way, we couldn't find out how to fix it." Fixing things on the road is hard to do at any level.
3. Revenge motivation- Utah embarrassed the Trojans in the Pac 12 opener back on Jan.2. Don't be surprised if USC is brings its' "A" looking to exact some revenge.
3. X-Factor- The duo of Kate Reinhardt and Nikola Jovanovic combined for 65 points in USC's double OT loss. They combined for just 19 in the game at Utah.
Selection- This is a play on USC (10*)
