Point Spread: -1.50 | 104.00 LA Dodgers (Home)
Result: Loss
The Colorado Rockies ended an 11 game slide as they won the opener of a four-game set at Dodger Stadium 5-4 Thursday. They were back to their losing ways last night though as the Los Angeles Dodgers claimed a 6-4 victory, and I expect the home-team to win big tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - The Los Angeles Dodgers will hand the ball to Zack Greinke (5-0, 1.52 ERA) who has allowed one run or less in five of his seven starts so far on the season. He's 2-0 with a 2.81 ERA home in L.A. and he is 22-1 with a 1.95 ERA in 32 starts against division foes since 2013. Colorado will counter with Jorge De La Rosa (0-2, 9.56 ERA) who was roughed up for five runs on five hits with six walks over just four innings in a 9-5 home-loss against the Dodgers his last start. He's 5-10 with a 5.89 ERA in 22 career appearances (18 starts) against the Dodgers.
2. Road Woes - The Rockies are 1-6 in De La Rosas last seven starts as a road underdog and 1-8 in his last nine road starts overall.
3. X-Factor - Adrian Gonzalez is batting .370 with three homers and eight walks against De La Rosa over 46 at bats.
Selection: This is a play on the Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (10*)
