The Milwaukee Brewers have won back-to-back road games at Philadelphia, and Game 3 goes tonight at Citizen's Bank Park. The Phillies bullpen has blown leads late in both ballgames, and I think the Brewers might not be the beneficiary of such good fortune here in tonight's contest.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Pitching - Aaron Harang will be on the mound for the home side, and he's been pretty solid so far. Harang (4-10, 3.56 ERA) gave up five runs on nine hits over six innings in a 5-2 loss to Washington in his last appearance. He's pitched well enough to win more often than not, especially at home where he boasts a 2.98 ERA in eight starts. The Brewers counter with Kyle Lohse, who is 4-9 with a 6.28 ERA this season.
2. Batter vs. Pitcher - Harang is 2-1 with a 2.79 ERA in five starts versus Milwaukee since 2012, and Ryan Braun is 7-for-34 with eight strikeouts versus the veteran.
3. X-Factor - Ryan Howard is hitting .379 with a pair of home runs and eight RBIs lifetime versus Lohse.
