*10* MAC ATTACK on Ohio.
The Northern Illinois Huskies are a big favorite in Tuesday night's battle versus MAC rivals Ohio. The Bobcats are on a roll, coming off a pair of big wins over Kent State and Ball State. Now granted that they are stepping up in class, I think they are catching the Huskies at a good time. Their offense has been putting points on the board, and I like their chances of covering this inflated number.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Previous History - The Bobcats have covered the spread in four of their last five meetings with Northern Illinois, and they won two of those games outright. Only one of those five contests was decided by more than 10 points, and that was a 35-23 Ohio win.
2. Huskies Quarterback Situation - With starter Drew Hare sidelined by an injury, backup Ryan Graham will be under center this week. He completed just 48 percent of his passes for 158 yards, two TDs and an INT in the win over Western Michigan last week.
3. X-Factor - The road team is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings.
Selection: This is a play on the Ohio Bobcats (10*)
