*10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on UNDER Bucks/Lakers.
The Milwaukee Bucks put up a heroic performance when they handed the Golden State Warriors their first loss of the season Saturday. Tonight the Bucks will face a very different opponent as they travel to Los Angeles to take on the Lakers, and I think we'll see way less action in a dull low-scoring game at Staples Center.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Situational - The Lakers are returning home to L.A. after playing six straight games, all losses, on the road since Dec. 1. The under is 9-1-1 in their last 11 at home following a road trip of seven or more days and 5-1 in the last six head-to-head meetings with the Bucks at Staples Center.
2. Road Woes - The Bucks are averaging 95.2 points per game on the season but they're putting up just 90.2 per game away from home. They were held to 83 points at Toronto Friday their last time out on the road.
3. X-Factor - Milwaukee held the mighty Warriors to 6-of-26 shooting from beyond the arc Saturday, and the Lakers have among the worst 3-point shooting in the league at 32.4%.
Selection: This is a play on MIL@LAL to go UNDER the total (10*)
