*10* TOTAL OF THE WEEK on UNDER Flames/Predators.
The Calgary Flames can coming into this game with their heads held high as they're coming off a perfect five-game home-stand. Scoring goals on the road has been a real struggle all season though, and odds are we'll see a low-scoring contest when they visit the Nashville Predators Tuesday night.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Road Woes - The Flames are averaging a lowly 2.21 goals per game on the road and the under is 6-0 in their last six when visiting a team with a winning home record. The Preds are a solid 9-4-1 with a 2.13 GAA home at Bridgestone Arena on the season.
2. Special Teams - Power play goals are always a threat to push a game over the total, but I doubt that will be the case tonight though. The Flames have the worst conversion rate in the NHL at 11.6% and the Preds success rate on home-ice ranks in the bottom half of the league.
3. X-Factor - James Neal leads the Preds with 12 goals for the season, but he has only three tallies in his last 13 games.
Selection: This is a play on CGY@NSH to go UNDER the total (10*)
