The New York Islanders will make their second stop of a trek through Western Canada and fourth of a seven-game trip when they visit Rexall Place Sunday night. They're a perfect 3-0 on the trip so far and defeated the Flames 2-1 in overtime Thursday. I expect them to take down the Edmonton Oilers tonight as well.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. The Oilers' Recent Games - Edmonton has lost seven consecutive games and has just one win in its last 11 contests. It has been held to one goal or fewer in seven of those games and the Islanders have conceded a total of three goals in their last three games.

2. Road Warriors - The Islanders win at Calgary Thursday was their fourth in their last five on the road.

3. X-Factor - Tough spot for the Oilers as they'll play their fourth game in six nights, and they're 1-7 in their last eight such situations.
