Don't be fooled by the Gamecocks. South Carolina has built up a strong record in non-conference play. The majority of those were weak or mediocre opponents. Now that SEC action is here, the Gamecocks will start to struggle. They were 4-14 in SEC play last year.

The Bulldogs have also built up their record against less than elite opposition. They're the real deal though. They returned all 5 starters from last year's NCAA Tournament team. That same group of Bulldogs won by 15 here last January.
