The Vancouver Canucks have started a four game road trip with back-to-back wins as they get set to LA to face the Los Angeles Kings tonight. The Kings found themselves on the wrong end of a 3-2 shootout versus the Islanders Thursday after snapping a four game losing streak two days before, but I think they're looking good to bounce back here tonight.
Here are my keys to the game:
1. Eddie Lack - It is very likely that the Canucks will turn to their backup goalie tonight as Ryan Miller started Thursday and they have a game against the Ducks tomorrow. Lack is 0-3 with a 4.19 GAA conceding 15 goals over his three starts and conceded seven against the Avs his last time out on the road.
2. Recent Meetings - Vancouver won only one game on the road against a California based team last season and the Kings won all three meetings in LA outscoring the Nucks 9-2.
3. X-factor - The Kings are 6-1-1 at home for the season and have not conceded more than two goals in any game at STAPLES Centre since their 4-0 premier loss to the Sharks.
Selection: This is a play on the Los Angeles Kings (10*)
