This is a 10* WEST-COAST EXPRESS on the UNDER between the Dallas Stars and the St. Louis Blues.
We don't subscribe to any single handicapping methodology, but instead feel that being flexible with ones approach is the best way to secure profits over the longterm. Sometimes these stats can be overrated and other times they help foreshadow the outcome of a contest.
This particular play is based primarily on strong and relevant O/U ATS statistics:
As note that Dallas has seen the total go UNDER the number in all three games that it's played this year with two days of rest, while St. Louis has seen the total go UNDER in two of three after scoring four goals or more in its previous contest.
The bottom line: The Stars have been struggling offensively, which doesn't bode well in facing red hot St. Louis' goaltender Jake Allen, who has a sub 1.50 GAA at home. This one sneaks UNDER.
