LA will be super motivated here after dropping its second in a row in a 91-70 loss to Indiana. The Nets will also be hungry, they've lost seven in a row, most recently a listless 122-105 setback at home to Sacramento on Sunday night. LA is known for its up-tempo offensive play, the team is seventh in the league in scoring with 107.8 PPG, but what many don't realize is how good the Clippers are defensively this year as well, conceding 97.4 PPG, ranked fifth overall. The Nets will look to emualte that defensive prowess as they currently rank last in the league on the defensive end, allowing 114 PPG. The offense is ranked 13th overall.
