This is an 8* SLUG-FEST SPECIAL on the OVER between the Cleveland Indians and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
For the most part MLB handicapping comes down to the starting pitching and in this case, we feel these two veterans will struggle in their first action of the season.
Josh Tomlin: He was 13-9 with a 4.40 ERA last year. Tomlin though would allow 36 home runs last year (third most in the league) and that was carried over into spring all, where he'd give up seven homers in just 18 innings of work.
Shelby Miller: He somehow earned a spot in the rotation after going 3-12 with a 6.15 ERA last year and by posting a 7.36 ERA over 11 innings this spring.
The bottom line: These teams feature a couple of the most potent line-ups in the league, which clearly doesn't bode well for these suspect starters. Play the OVER.
