Bumgarner: He received a no-decision in his opening start against the Rays, giving up three runs off six hits with 11 strikeouts and no walks over seven impressive innings. He also crushed two homers himself.
Jhoulys Chacin: He was shelled for nine runs off eight hits and two walks over 3.1 innings in Monday's loss to the Dodgers. Note that he was 4-7 with a 4.92 ERA in all "night" games a year ago.
The bottom line: This is mismatch of David and Goliath proportions, except in this version, Goliath smashes the underdog into the upper-deck. Lay the price, play on SAN FRANCISCO.
