This is an 8* O/U SITUATIONAL DESTRUCTION on the UNDER between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks.
We don't subscribe to any single handicapping methodology, but instead feel that being flexible with ones approach is the best way to secure profits over the longterm. As note that Cleveland has seen the total go UNDER the number in 12 of 20 this year in trying to revenge a home loss against an opponent, while Atlanta has seen the total go UNDER in 22 of 29 this year against poor defensive teams which allow 106 points per contest.
The bottom line: A day after securing the No. 1 seed with a big win over the Celtics, the Cavs were caught complacent in a 114-100 loss to the undermanned Hawks at home the following night. It's going to be all hands on deck for Cleveland as it once again tries to secure the top spot, as well as to avenge the "brain fart" last time out. The Hawks are still battling for a better playoff seed and will look to control the pace tonight as well. When you add it all up, all signs point to a classic, low-scoring defensive battle.
