As note that Philadelphia has seen the total go UNDER the number in four of its last five after playing to five or more straight ATS losses, while New York has seen the total go UNDER the number in three of its last four after back-to-back ATS victories.
The bottom line: Philadelphia is going to be desperate here as it comes in having lost six straight, including a home and home set against the Raptors most recently (we had a play on the UNDER in the 76ers most recent loss.) New York on the other hand has been alternating wins/losses over its last four games and enters off a 104-101 setback at Detroit, one night after beating East leading Boston 102-93 at home. New York has been playing better defensively of late and the desperate 76ers will also be trying to control the pace of this one. When you add it all up, this number is indeed a little high. Play the UNDER.
