The Buds are coming off a 5-2 win over the Isles last night though, and they play the back end of a back to back in Canada's capital tonight. Phil Kessel had two goals and an assist in last night's win, and he scored four goals and three assists in four games versus Ottawa last year.
Toronto doesn't play a lot of low scoring games, as they don't play a particularly defensive brand of hockey. The starting goaltender's job is still up for grabs, as neither James Reimer or Jonathan Bernier have been spectacular. Reimer could get the call tonight after Bernier stopped 34-of-36 shots against the Isles last night.
Three of the last four between these teams has gone over, while the Leafs have seen the total go over in six of their last eight when playing on short rest, and seven of eight versus teams with a winning record.
