The Hurricanes are just 0-6-2 for the season, but we can expect results to improve with the return of their captain Eric Staal. The 30 year old made a comeback Tuesday as he assisted Jiri Tlusty for Carolina's lone goal in the 4-1 loss.

Tonight should be a good spot for them to earn their first W of the season as they will host the Coyotes who are looking for their first road win of the season. Arizona struggled on the road last season as well, winning only 15 of their 41 games away from home and will play their third game since Tuesday here as they are in the midst of a four game road trip.

Cam Ward has not played up to standards for the home team, but this is as good of an opportunity as any for him to get some confidence back. The Coyotes have only scored five goals over their last four games, and some Staal magic could be enough to win this game.

The home team should get a boost with several key players coming back from injury.
