The Rangers have been playing a lot better of late, coming into tonight's game as winners of six of their last eight overall. They host the Royals in Game 2 at the Ballpark in Arlington, and this looks like a favorable matchup for the home team.

Nick Martinez will toe the rubber for the Rangers, and he's been having a stellar season so far. Martinez (2-0, 1.47 ERA) allowed three runs on six hits over 4 2/3 innings in a no decision at Tampa Bay his last time out. The Rangers won that game, as they have done in all six of his starts.

The Royals will hand the ball to Edinson Volquez, who has struggled with his command in recent outings. Volquez (2-3, 2.65 ERA) allowed three runs on two hits and six walks over just three innings in a no decision versus Cleveland his last time out. He's given out 11 free passes in his last three starts, and that could spell disaster here in a hitter's park tonight.

Volquez has only faced Texas once over the last three seasons, and he was rocked for six runs on five hits and four walks in a loss.
