Schule's MLB *TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE* - CLE@TEX
(MLB) Cleveland vs. Texas, 05/17/2015 11:05 AM, Score: 1 - 5
Point Spread: 1.50 | -131.00 Texas (Home)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the Texas Rangers.

The Rangers have lost four of six on this home stand, but had previously won five of seven on the road. They appear to have a favorable matchup on the mound tonight, and I'll take them as a home dog to Cleveland.

Nick Martinez will toe the rubber for the Rangers, and he's been having a fantastic season. Martinez (2-0, 1.88 ERA) allowed four runs (one unearned) on six hits over 6 1/3 innings in a no decision versus Kansas City his last time out. He's been phenomenal all year, and that was the only of his seven starts that the Rangers didn't win. He's been at his best in early games, posting a record of 4-2 with a 2.89 ERA nine starts over the last three seasons.

The Indians hand the ball to Carlos Carrasco, who was obliterated his last time out. He gave up four runs on 10 hits over 6 2/3 innings an 8-3 loss. He doesn't have a great track record during the day, with a record of 2-4 with a 4.82 ERA in 15 appearances in the afternoon since 2012.

The current Rangers lineup has hit .370 versus Carrasco in 27 at bats in previous meetings.

Take TEX.
