Schule's MLB AFTERNOON EXECUTIONER - **EARLY START**
(MLB) LA Angels vs. Toronto, 05/18/2015 9:07 AM, Score: 6 - 10
Money Line: -107.00 LA Angels (Away)
Result: Loss
This is a 10* play on the LAA.

The Blue Jays have scored the most runs in the major leagues, but it hasn't resulted in wins. They sit dead last in the AL East with a record of 17-22, and they've lost five straight. The bats have also gone quiet during this losing streak, averaging just over three runs per game during that span. They host the Angels this afternoon, and I think this is a good spot to back the visitors.

C.J. Wilson will toe the slab for the Halos, and he's having another solid season. Wilson (2-2, 2.63 ERA) allowed a pair of runs on five hits, striking out six over eight innings in a home win over Colorado his last time out. An early start seems to favor the southpaw, who is 15-4 with a 2.59 ERA in 26 starts in day games over the last three seasons.

The Blue Jays hand the ball to Aaron Sanchez, who has been inconsistent at best. Sanchez (3-3, 4.26 ERA) was rocked for five runs on seven hits and four walks over 5 2/3 innings in a loss to Baltimore his last time out. The 22 year old has struggled with his command all year, walking 29 batters in his seven starts.

When it comes to the relievers, the Halos are at a significant advantage. The Blue Jays bullpen owns an ERA of 3.91, in comparison to a 3.07 ERA for LA.

Take LAA.
