The Montreal Canadiens will take on the Boston Bruins at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro Massachusetts in the NHL's annual Winter Class Friday afternoon. This is actually a big game between division rivals, with only one point separating the two teams in the Atlantic Division standings. This will be the eighth edition of hockey's outdoor game, and six of the previous seven have failed to reach the total (5.5).

Often the conditions are less than ideal in these outdoor games, with poor ice conditions combined with glare from the midday sun reflecting off the ice surface. It was a major issue in the 2014 Winter Classic in Michigan, and similar conditions are expected here in New England.

Montreal has failed to reach the total in nine of their last 13 overall, and four of their last five versus division rivals. The Habs have won four straight in Boston, and three of those four games went under.
