I bet on Michigan in their win over Tulsa, and while the Wolverines prevailed in that game, I wasn't impressed with their effort. Michigan actually trailed in the final minute of the game, but Duncan Robinson hit a three-pointer to put them ahead by two with 55 seconds left on the clock. That was a rare make on the day, as they were a woeful 6-for-25 (24%) from beyond the arc.
The Irish won 12 games in the ACC, but that's far more impressive to me than Michigan's 12 wins in the BIG10. While the Irish were facing the likes of Virginia, Duke, North Carolina and Louisville, the Wolverines were piling up wins against a weak field at the bottom of the BIG10.
The Irish have had plenty of success versus the Big10, covering the spread in seven of their last nine. Michigan on the other hand has failed to cover in five of it's last seven versus the ACC.
