Nevada was one of the surprise teams this season, finishing near the top of a competitive field in the Mountain West. There is plenty to be upbeat about for the Wolfpack, and they were particularly strong at home winning 12 of 15 games. They host a Vermont Catamounts team that finished third in the American East. The Catamounts were 9-9 on the road this season, but those wins came in a weaker conference, against teams a lot less competitive than Nevada. When they did play competitive teams from bigger conferences in their non-conference schedule, the results were not good. They lost by double-digits to the likes of Eastern Michigan, Buffalo, Yale and Northeastern. The Wolfpack have covered the spread in eight of their last nine home games, and we see a pretty short line here in this game. Vermont has not been a good bet on the road, going 2-5-1 ATS in it's last eight road games.
