He gave up three runs on five hits over seven innings in a loss at LA his last time out. He cruised through the first five innings in that game, but Mike Trout hit a two run shot in the sixth to five the Angels the win.

The Royals hand the ball to Kris Medlen, who was rocked in a loss to Baltimore his last time out. He gave up seven runs on nine hits and three walks over just 3 2/3 innings in that game.

Robinson Cano leads the American League in home runs with eight, and RBIs with 24. He was 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs in his last game.
