Schule's MLB AFTERNOON EXECUTIONER - **EARLY START**
(MLB) Seattle vs. Cincinnati, 05/21/2016 12:10 PM, Score: 4 - 0
Money Line: -159.00 Seattle (Away)
Result: Win
This is an 8* play on the Seattle Mariners.

The Reds and the Mariners are two teams trending in opposite directions. Seattle sits in first place in the AL West, while the Reds are in the cellar in the NL Central. I like the Mariners to win a matinee at Cincinnati on Saturday.

Felix Hernandez will toe the slab for Seattle, coming off a solid performance. Hernandez (3-3, 2.47 ERA) allowed three runs on seven hits, striking out nine over 7 1/3 innings in a tough luck loss as the Mariners were shutout in a home loss to the Halos. The Seattle ace definitely doesn't mind pitching in day games, with a record of 17-7 and a 2.75 ERA in matinees over the last three seasons.

The Reds will hand the ball to John Lamb, who was completely destroyed in a loss to Cleveland his last time out. The southpaw gave up seven runs on 10 hits and a pair of walks in just four innings. His career record of 1-6, 5.80 ERA doesn't inspire much confidence against a hot team with it's ace on the hill.

Take SEA.
