The Coach's MLB Heavy Hitter - (Bigtime Blowout Potential)
(MLB) Milwaukee vs. Atlanta, 05/22/2015 3:35 PM, Score: 11 - 0
Money Line: -123.00 Atlanta (Home)
Result: Loss
The Milwaukee Brewers have lost six of their last nine and were annihilated in a 10-1 defeat by the Atlanta Braves in the opener of a four-game set at Turner Field Thursday. That was the Braves fifth win in their last six games, and I think we're getting a fair price on the hosts tonight.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Pitching - The Braves will hand the ball to Alex Wood (2-2, 3.83) who allowed just two runs (one earned) on seven hits in seven innings in a 5-3 win at Miami his last start. He was 2-0 in two appearances (one start) with a 1.13 ERA against the Brewers last year. The Brew Crew will counter with Wily Peralta (1-5, 4.32 ERA) who is 1-1 with a 1.50 ERA in three career starts against Atlanta, but lost his only visit to Atlanta 9-3 last year when he gave up three runs and nine hits with four walks in five innings. He was lit up for five runs on nine hits with three walks over five innings his last start and has lost each of his three road-starts on the year behind a 5.63 ERA.

2. Home Cookin' - Atlanta has won four of its last five at home and 13 of the last 16 when hosting Milwaukee.

3. X-Factor - The Braves Freddie Freeman was 2-for-5 with two RBIs last night and is batting .348 in his last 16 games.

Selection: This is a play on the Atlanta Braves (10*)
