The Edmonton Oilers and the Calgary Flames have split two "Battle of Alberta" already this season with the road-team taking each contest. The Flames have generally had the upper hand in this rivalry though, and this looks like a fair price on the home-team.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. The Red Hot Flames - Calgary has been arguably the hottest team in the NHL this month boasting an 8-2 record, with the two defeats coming at St. Louis and Detroit. It has won an amazing 10 straight home at the Saddledome.

2. Situational - The Oilers have lost four straight on the road with just a total of four goals scored. They suffered a 2-1 overtime defeat at Vancouver last night and are 16-54 in their last 70 games playing on back-to-back nights. The Flames on the other hand are extremely well rested not playing since a 4-1 win against the Jets Tuesday.

3. X-Factor - The Oilers are 5-14 in the last 19 meetings in Calgary.
