*8* SPECIAL on Predators.

The Predators are home in Nashville for a pit stop following a three-game trek before going out on another four-game road-trip. They'll host the Central Division worst Winnipeg Jets, and I think the Preds will give it their all in front of the home-town crowd.

Here are my keys to the game:

1. Home Cookin' - The Predators have won three of their last four at home, highlighted with wins against both the Rangers and the Canadiens. They've won five of the last seven when hosting Winnipeg and the Jets are 2-12-1 on the road since Nov. 5.

2. Winnipeg's Goalscoring Woes - The Jets have lost six of their last 10 overall with an average of 2.2 goals scored per game. Goals won't come easy tonight as they'll face a real nemesis of theirs in Pekka Rinne who is 8-1-0 with two shutouts and a 1.84 GAA in 10 career meetings with the Jets.

3. X-Factor - The Jets have been abysmal on the penalty kill of late giving up goals on six of their last 18 shorthanded situations.
