Rating: 10*

The Pittsburgh Pirates needed just one run to claim the victory in last night's opener of a four-game set against the San Francisco Giants. I expect the Giants to bounce back with a win on Tuesday behind Johnny Cueto.

Cueto (10-1, 2.10) has been phenomenal all year long and San Francisco is 12-2 in games he has started. He's 4-1 with a 1.95 ERA in seven starts at AT&T Park and has thrived under the lights going 7-0 with a 1.74 ERA in nine turns. Cueto is 18-5 when starting against the Pirates with an ERA of 2.23 and a WHIP of 1.01.

Pittsburgh will give Wilfredo Boscan (0-0, 2.92 ERA) a spot start, his first start in the big leagues ever. The 26 year old has posted a 2.92 ERA through 12 1/3 innings working out of the bullpen, but was tagged with two runs on four hits and four walks in 3 1/3 innings against the Halos his last outing.

Giants are 7-2 in their last nine games following a loss. Pirates are 1-5 in their last six games following a win and 2-6 in their last eight when their opponent scores two runs or fewer in their previous game.
