The banged up Tampa Bay Rays are losers of six straight with only a total of 14 runs scored in that span. The Cleveland Indians are in a very different position eyeing a sixth consecutive victory when the teams clash in the finale of a three-game set Wednesday.

Chris Archer (4-9, 4.60 ERA) will take the ball for Tampa Bay. He suffered his second straight loss and fifth in six outings on Friday when he was tagged with three earned runs on six hits and three walks in six innings of a 5-1 loss to the Giants. Archer is 3-4 with a bloated 6.75 ERA in eight road starts on the year and 0-4 with a 4.91 ERA in four career starts against the Tribe.

Cleveland sends Trevor Bauer (4-2, 3.46) to the bump. Bauer has yielded just 10 earned runs and striking out 32 in 35 2/3 innings through his last five starts. Indians are 5-2 in Bauer's last seven Wednesday starts and 5-2 in his last seven starts with four days of rest.

Rays are 4-22 in their last 26 road games vs. a team with a winning record, 1-10 in Archers last 11 Wednesday starts and 1-11 in Archer's last 12 starts during Game 3 of a series. Good spot to back the Tribe to sweep the series.
