Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, LeVeon Bell and Martavis Bryant finally will play together again Sunday afternoon when the Bengals visit Heinz Field. It has been 307 days since Pittsburgh had all their weapons.
While it is possible that Andy Dalton has finally arrived, history gives us plenty of reason to doubt it. This is his biggest test of the season.
Not only were the Steelers 8-2 straight up when the quartet played together in 2014, but there was a striking difference with the production of the offense. Bryant was inactive for the first six weeks last season, and the Steelers averaged 20.6 points per game while going 3-3. In the final 10 games, all with Bryant active, the Steelers averaged 31.2 per game.
The Bengals are paper tigers. Pittsburgh because of injuries have a deceptively bad mark. Pittsburgh is the better team with the squad they will have on the field and should be laying 3.5.
